Carry the Alpine adventures in your pocket with this knife, which is a part of a collection dedicated to three outdoor sports with a special connection to the French mountains: biking, hiking, and skiing. The handle is made of beechwood with laser engraving, and the blade is crafted from Sandvik 12C27 mod stainless steel.
We chose Sandvik 12C27 modified stainless steel for its anti-corrosive properties, thanks to the addition of chrome, and it requires no special maintenance. The carbon content of at least 0.40% gives the blade an excellent cutting edge.
The beechwood handle comes from France and is known for its hardness and durability. Its light color varies from yellow to pink, and it is characterized by the presence of numerous small dark dashes.
The knife also features the Virobloc safety ring, which was invented by Marcel Opinel in 1955. This safety ring has two sections, one fixed and one sliding, and in addition to locking the blade open, it is now possible to lock the blade closed.
