PRACTICAL PARING ADDITION TO YOUR KITCHEN LINEUP The Essential Paring Knife Sets by Opinel are practical and useful tools for a wide range of tasks, from prep work to dressing up your table for a dinner party and everything in between.

KITCHEN PERFECT SPECS We use Sandvik 12C27 modified stainless steel, which is anti-corrosive thanks to the addition of chrome and requires no special maintenance. Its carbon content of at least 0.40% gives an excellent cutting edge. The handles are made of beech, the most commonly used wood for Opinel handles. The beech is hard, durable and easy to work with, with a homogeneous appearance varying from yellow to pink and characterized by the presence of numerous small dark dashes.

Sustainability To prevent a negative impact on the environment, 95% of the wood for handles comes from sustainably managed French forests. Most Opinel products are recyclable and made from recycled materials.

Care The stainless steel blade is also anti-corrosive and requires no special maintenance, while the blonde hornbeam wood handle is varnished for protection against moisture and dirt.
