THE OPINEL EFFILÉ SLIM SERIES The elegant and highly ergonomic Slim series (a.k.a Effilés in French) offers a range of four different sizes, from No.08 to No.15. A long, flexible knife is key for filleting fish, and the Slim Fillet knives come in a variety of attractive woods: Ebony, Beech Wood, Olive Wood, and Padouk Wood.

THE RIGHT FEATURES AT THE RIGHT COST The new version of the Effilé features a more urban blade with a rounded tip, along with moisture-resistant, low-maintenance wooden handles. The Padouk and Olive wood models boast a mirror-polished blade for an especially elegant touch. The ferrule is branded with the new logo and locks the blade in both open and closed positions.

A SIZE FOR ANY JOB Choose from four different sizes, ranging from No.08 to No.15. These narrow, flexible blade knives are perfect for cutting fruits, vegetables, transforming steak dinners, and filleting fish. Keep in mind that the Slim knives are not meant for heavy-duty tasks.

CARING FOR YOUR KNIFE Opinel wooden-handle knives should not be washed in the dishwasher, as heat and moisture can cause swelling. Instead, carefully hand wash your knives and let them air dry.
